About Jake
Jake Wilton is an award-winning nature and travel photographer from New South Wales, Australia. With over a decade of experience in the tourism industry, Jake has a deep understanding of how to capture the beauty and uniqueness of different destinations, and how to create content that appeals to a wide range of audiences.
Jake's passion for photography started in 2019 when he began taking photos of the stunning marine life on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia. Since then, Jake has established himself as a specialist in creating high-quality imagery and content for tourism organisations, travel agencies, resorts, brands, and private clients.
Jake is a Nikon Australia partner, ensuring that he always has the best equipment for his photography. He is also sponsored by Aquatica Digital and Epson Australia. Jake's passion for the natural world extends beyond photography, and he is a committed conservationist and environmental advocate. He has also won multiple awards for his photography, including first place in the 'Threatened Species" Category of the 2022 Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year Competition, third place in the "Portfolio Award" Category in the 2022 Ocean Photography Awards and Grand Guru Overall Prize in the 2022 Underwater Tour Awards.
